Ticlopidine is used to prevent Stroke. It decreases the chances of having another stroke, heart attack, or death from a disease related to your heart or blood vessels.

It is often prescribed along with a low dose of aspirin which also helps to prevent blood from clotting.
Directions for Use

Safety Advice
ALCOHOL

DRIVING

LIVER
Ticlopidine should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ticlopidine may be needed.
